The long winter nights are drawing in and before we know it, the light will have dwindled long before we get home in the evenings. If you have a wood burning stove, this is a lovely feature to come home to. It will feel warm, cosy and homely, making your house a more pleasant place to spend time.

You will need lots of fuel to keep your fire burning throughout the winter months. If you have a wood burning fire, you can find very cheap firewood deals when shopping online. You may even be able to find somewhere close to you that sells firewood, which would save you, even more, money on the delivery. However, if you buy lots of firewood all in one go, the delivery may be free or discounted anyway.

For multi-fuel stoves, look for briquettes that are good value for money. If you have a garage or shed, buy more and store them for later.
