A fire pit is a garden installation, making it easy for you to build a fire. It may be a standing structure or it may be something that is sunken into the ground, making it a permanent feature.

If you are looking for a way to provide heat in your outdoor space, a fire pit is an excellent option. Other options, like heat lamps, are not going to be as environmentally friendly. It is much harder to get solar powered lamps as it will usually be dark when you are using them.

Installing a fire pit makes for an interesting garden feature and it will look great, as well as providing a source of heat. You can use a variety of fuels on it, as it is essentially an open fire – logs, charcoal and briquettes are all options. Buying fuel in bulk and storing it in a shed or garage is the cheapest way of doing so.
